10.3.11 Cinemascope is really becoming mainstream. For many reasons people will choose cinemascope format over a traditional HDTV 16:9 format screen. The purpose of the Cinemascope screen is to re create what is done at the Cinemas and to enjoy the film in it's native format. Think of how exciting it was when curtains open up to the wall to display that deluxe widescreen image. You can't do with a TV, you are left watching the 2.35 film in letterboxed format with black bars top and bottom. Gladly, Home Theatre Projection is one step ahead. Because we can manipulate the image in a couple of different ways, we can now enjoy those blockbuster films in their native ultra widescreen format. The Cinemascope screen is 33% wider than the traditional HDTV or 16:9 format. Watching movies in this widescreen format is truly a spectacle. Your images will also stay the same height regardless of what you're viewing.

3.3.11 We are extremely excited by the latest development of the Aspect Masking System. An Australian made masking system at a breakthrough price level never seen before in the Home Theatre industry. The Aspect Masking System is being developed by a collegue in Victoria and will feature black Fidelio velvet masking panels, a fully programmable remote storing upto 10 different aspects, dual motors and will also feature a black fidelio velvet frame. We will be setting this system up in our Qld showroom and have been appointed as the Qld reseller.

28.2.11 Due to the increasing demand for cost effective anamorphic lenses. We have designed a new 5 element prism based lens with corrector element for astigmatism correction. The Prismorphic HD5E will feature full height adjustment via it's holder and a unique optical design with astigmatism correction. This lens also features the important CA correction and full optic coatings in the visible spectrum. The HD5E will be compatable with the Cineslide lens transport system.
