For those of you going down the DIY avenue, Oz Theatre Screens is happy to announce access to our Projection Vinyls.
Prices are per lineal metre. Use the Qty box to buy the required amount.

ACOUSTICALLY TRANSPARENT FRONT PROJECTION FABRIC
ACUVISION: Our premium acoustically transparent audio fabric for behind screen speaker placement.

Roll width is 2.48 metres - this is the height of your screen as the material needs to
be turned on a 15 degree angle to eliminate moire. This is the same method used by
Stewart for their micro perforated screens

How do I work out how much I need?

Here are some stock sizes in both 16:9 and 2.37:1 format.

16:9 HDTV format.
92 inch requires 3.3 lineal metres
100 inch requires 3.5 lineal metres
110 inch requires 3.8 lineal metres
120 inch requires 3.9 lineal metres
130 inch requires 4.0 lineal metres
140 inch requires 4.2 lineal metres (maximum size)
This is enough to turn the fabric at a minimum of 10 degrees, and in some cases upto 30 degrees.

2.37:1 Cinemascope format.
92 inch requires 3.3 lineal metres
100 inch requires 3.4 lineal metres
110 inch requires 3.55 lineal metres
120 inch requires 3.65 lineal metres
130 inch requires 4.0 lineal metres
140 inch requires 4.25 lineal metres
150 inch requires 4.45 lineal metres (maximum size)
This is enough to turn the fabric at a minimum of 10 degrees, and in some cases upto 30 degrees.
